Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 July 2026

Geni Clique (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. The information we collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, including:

  • Contact details — name, business name, email address, phone number, and role, when you enquire, book a call, or engage our services.
  • Project information — details about your business, systems, and processes that you share so we can scope and deliver work.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically through cookies and analytics.
  • Communications — records of correspondence, meeting notes, and support requests.

We only collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) with your consent and where it is necessary for a specific purpose.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and provide quotes;
  • deliver, support, and improve our services;
  • manage our relationship with you, including billing and administration;
  • send service updates and, where you have opted in, marketing communications; and
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

3. Disclosure of your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to trusted third parties who help us operate, such as cloud hosting, analytics, email, and payment providers, and to professional advisers. Where required, we disclose information to comply with the law or to protect our rights.

4. Overseas recipients

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or the European Union). Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle it consistently with the APPs.

5. AI systems and your data

When we build systems for clients, your business data stays in accounts and infrastructure you own. We follow least-access principles, document every data flow, and do not use your data to train third-party models without your explicit written agreement.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, using measures such as access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand how it is used and to improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first so we can address it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, will always be available on this page.
